What to bring on the boat and what to leave behind.

We have enough dry storage for every one to bring a small bag with personal items and a towel.
Cameras come in handy for when we encounter marine mammals or beautiful sunsets.
Protection from the sun is important, t-shirts and hats are ideal. Spray-on sunscreens are not allowed to be used on the boat.

Directions to Our Boat, Na Pali Kai II:

The Honokohau Marina is located 4 miles South of the Kona (Keahole) Airport. You can easily see boats from the highway. There is a big sign marking the entrance with a picture of a marlin on it and there is a stoplight as well. The cross street is Kealakehe Parkway. If you're coming from the North, it is 3 stoplights past the airport. If you're coming from the South, it is 3 stoplights past Kona's main intersection, Palani Road.

Once you've turned off the highway, stay left. This will put you on the south side of the marina. Continue along until you reach a building with a blue roof on your left called: Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club. It is the only building on your left. Once there, turn right into the parking area and park your car. Walk towards the boats in the water and you will see a dock that goes out into the middle of the basin. Walk out that dock until it forks and we are the second boat on the right. We are the only bright yellow dive boat there, called "Na Pali Kai II"
